I have recently become rather obsessed with MBLAQ. Based on physical apperance, I’d say G.O was my least favourite member, simply because he has that weird 5 o’clock shadow going on in all his photos, and videos If you wanna grow it out, just bloody hell grow it out! LOL! But I loved his look in O-IWI-O, except that I still loved Nassun more!

Anyway, back to the song. Having said that, I still appreciate G.O for his beautiful vocals. This song was so, so sweet and the MV was quite interesting: http://youtu.be/Tg6LYQIh5OI I especially loved that Mir had a part in it too. His dorkiness is so very loveable. Overall, the storyline was quite good, but I don’t get how the girl gets to so cruelly break the news to him.

This song isn’t really easy to sing because there are bits where you really speed through, even the chorus. But the soulfulness of the song makes you just wanna try your hardest Cos you makes you feel warm and fuzzy once you realise you can sing it~

I’ve gotta say that I was never a fan of miss A from their debut days. Somehow the song ‘Bad Girl Good Girl’ never struck a cord with me, and I never really got to listening to Breathe.

However, since watching Oh My School or known in Korean as 백점만점, I’ve come to really like Min and I think she’s really talented. So when this come came out, I immediately watched the MV. The dancing was good and the song, even better. It’s really something I’d like to sing along to. Another thing that puzzles me is how much JYP continues to invest in the Wonder Girls when their collective talent cannot even surpass miss A’s. Sad reality this is~

I’m a bit sad that yet again, they did not include an instrumental for the title song, but I was once again impressed that JYP made it a point to sub their YouTube videos. Here’s the link if you have not seen it:

With TVXQ split up, I just can’t really bear listening to their old songs these days, much less the new songs by TVXQ (2) and JYJ. I suppose the K-Pop gods were super kind when they create B2ST and MBLAQ. These guys are my K-Pop staples these days.

I’ve always been a big fan of Korean rap / hip hop music. I love the music, the sampling and how they really bring a song together. This is one of the sweetest songs I’ve heard in awhile.

I’ve heard of Brave Brothers, but till now have not really listened to their works. This song caught my attention initially because it featured Lee Kikwang of B2ST. He’s such a cutie! I had to have a listen. I was surprised how much I loved it. So I Romanized it and I’m in the process of learning it.

The chorus might not be anything creative, but I think the rap is really good and so are the other verses sung. The song just makes you feel good! I also loved that they provided the instrumental. So for those who wanna learn the song, here are the lyrics. It isn’t that hard actually

Before this, I’ve only heard of NAVI. I didn’t know what she looked like or what she sang. I chanced upon Allkpop’s article on her and gave her new song, Well Done, a listen. It’s really quite good. I like the tune and the way the melody just changes. It has variety, and it’s really not an easy song to sing. But it’s so soulful… you just wanna sing along!

It’s totally different from his usual style… but I like this song much better than 사랑이 고프다 (I Promise You) because he sounds more like himself in Beautiful Day. Could do without the Reggae guy featuring… LOL! This song is a challenge though… again I wish there was an MR

Album: Vol. 7 – Hwayobi

I believe this is her 10th Anniversary album As always… Hwayobi has a song that capture my heart. Not a big fan of the monologues in the beginning on her video, but I like the rest of the video’s concept. How I wish there was an MR version of this song to sing along to. Album: Vol. 2 - Oh!

I’m not a very big fan of girl groups, but every now and then there will be one or two catchy or touching songs that will hit a chord with me.

Star Star Star is a sweet love song that a silly girl in love would sing to the guy she’s madly in love with. Having been there at least once in my life >_< I get what the song says… and it really made me feel like singing along ^_^

Song: LOVE

Album: Bluelove

I’ve gotten seriously smitten with C.N.BLUE lately. Their music is a refreshing change from the usual cookie cutter K-Pop I’d gorge myself with despite the protests of the more discerning section of my brain ^_^

LOVE is catchy, upbeat, and the melody just the way I like it; sweet and sexy. The meaning of the lyrics are actually really simple and straighforward, which may the song seem like it lacks substance. Contrary to that… I find the fact that the message of the song is clear and simple to be refreshing and easy to follow. And of course it doesn’t hurt that Jung Yong Hwa is such eye candy!!! ^_^

Song: 비켜줄게 (I’ll Move)

Album: Blowin My Mind (Single)

Allo allo… it’s been a long time since I posted. I actually have a few songs Romanized but never got around to posting >_< Actually… I think the title of the song literally means ‘I’ll get out of the way’ instead of ‘I’ll move’ ^_^

This the first Brown Eyed Soul song I’ve heard, and it sure isn’t too shabby. I love the old school feel to it. The whole song is so soulful and it really makes you want to sing along. No doubt about it… they have powerful vocals. Love it!

Note: I did notice that they sing ‘ni’ instead of ‘ne’ and ‘niga’ instead of ‘nega’… but the original Hangeul lyrics used ‘ne’. So I’ll just follow

Song: Heartbreaker

Album: Heartbreaker

The title song of G-D’s first solo album, one of the most highly anticipated solo debuts of the year. His debut live performances were delayed by the death of a former South Korean president, but that didn’t stop the song from charting or album sales from climbing.

The song is sharp, energetic, and G-D is charismatic as always. To put it simply, he did not disappoint. The MV was a visual spectacle, and his newly bleached hair was sooo… him So… enough praise for this music prodigy. I know fans are itching to learn this song, even though it’s hell of a mouthful ^_^ Enjoy!
